Võ sư Ý Đại Lợi quảng bá Vovinam trên chương trình TV
Vào năm 1938, cố Võ sư Sáng Tổ Nguyễn Lộc đã tiên liệu rằng rồi một ngày môn phái Vovinam sẽ chia sẻ những giá trị văn hoá cao đẹp của dân tộc qua võ học đến với cộng đồng thế giới, nhưng có lẽ Người không bao giờ có thể mường tượng được cơ may ấy sẽ diễn ra thế nào. Thực vậy, cơ hội ấy đã thực sự đến trên đài truyền hình quốc gia của Ý Đại Lợi một cách mà Võ sư Sáng Tổ chắc chắn rất hãnh diện, nếu như Người còn sống.Vài thập niên đổ lại đây, Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo đã phát tán nhanh chóng đến các nước Âu châu cũng như Mỹ châu và Úc châu. Sự thật là sau ngày thống nhất Nam và Bắc Việt Nam vào năm 1975, đất nước này đã trải qua một gia đoạn lúng túng, khi mà tất cả những võ đường đều bị cấm sinh hoạt. Không là ngoại lệ, Vovinam cũng đã chịu số phận ấy và đã bị đóng cửa; Võ sư Chưởng môn bị câu lưu trong tù suốt 13 năm. Cũng trong thời gian này, làn sóng người tỵ nạn từ Việt Nam và một số du sinh đã liên lũy phát huy và phấn đấu để giữ cho phong trào sống còn, vượt qua mọi thách thức. Đáng mừng thay, môn phái luôn được chào đón nồng nhiệt bất cứ nơi nào được giới thiệu đến. Tại Âu châu, các võ đường Vovinam đã khởi phát ở vài quốc gia. Đặc biệt Pháp, Ý, Đức và Tây Ban Nha là những nước phong trào có dấu hiệu nổi bật. Đến đầu thập niên 1990, sinh hoạt Vovinam trong nước vẫn còn rất hạn chế. Thật oái ăm thay nhiều người dân Việt Nam được chứng kiến lần đầu tiên những buổi biểu diễn Vovinam, không do người bản địa… mà do người Âu châu và người Việt từ hải ngoại! Ngày nay nhờ chính sách cởi mở hơn, Vovinam được phục hoạt rất ngoạn mục và bùng phát nhanh chóng đến khắp quận huyện trên đất nước Việt Nam.
Ngày 24 tháng 11 vừa qua, lúc 2 giờ 10, dẫn đầu bởi Võ sư Michele Garofalo, Võ sư Vittorio "Vinh Tô" Cera, Võ sư Leonardo Rotunno và Võ sư Giuseppe Pollastro thuộc Tổng hội Vovinam-Việt Võ Đạo Ý Đại Lợi đã xuất hiện trên truyền hình quốc gia trong chương trình Buổi Chiều Ý Đại Lợi (POMERIGGIO ITALIA). Trong buổi nói chuyện này, các xướng ngôn viên của đài đã ân cần hỏi han nhiều về môn võ của người Việt Nam và các võ sư Ý tận tình giải đáp và trình bày về những từ ngữ chưa quen thuộc như “Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo”. Hơn thế, các võ sư đã đích thân trình diễn các màn võ thuật Vovinam từ đòn thế tự vệ tay không, thao dụng vũ khí và “đi” bài quyền. Từ “kiếm” và nhiều từ ngữ tiếng Việt được dùng trong câu chuyện trộn lẫn với tiếng Ý khi các võ sư trình bày và giới thiệu môn phái với các vị điều phối chương trình. Hiệu lệnh “Nghiêm lễ” được các võ sư phát âm dõng dạc bằng tiếng Việt khá chuẩn mực. Lòng cảm mến dành cho môn phái Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo hiện rõ trên từng khuôn mặt của các võ sư trong những đôi mắt trong sáng đầy sức sống. Niềm đam mê mà các võ sư này dành cho võ học Việt Nam có khả năng quyến rũ đến truyền nhiễm. Chắc rằng cả hàng trăm ngàn, có thể cả triệu khán giả theo dõi buổi trò chuyện trên TV cũng cảm nhận được dòng năng lượng tích cực đó.
Thật khó mà có thể tưởng tượng rằng 71 năm sau buổi biểu diễn Vovinam đầu tiên tại Hà Nội do chính cố Võ sư Sáng Tổ Nguyễn Lộc điều động, môn phái Vovinam được nói đến rất chân thành bằng với một thứ ngôn ngữ khác, ở một nơi xa xôi như Milano, Ý Đại Lợi. Nơi đây chính là quê hương của Đại Đế Ceasar và của các kiện tướng của đoàn hùng binh La Mã xa xưa. Vâng, Võ sư Sáng Tổ có lẽ sẽ hài lòng và hãnh diện lắm, và tin chắc rằng Võ sư Chưởng môn và bao môn sinh khắp nơi cũng thế!

I Maestri Italiani promuovono il Vovinam in uno Show TV
Nel 1938 il Fondatore Gran Maestro Nguyễn Lộc fece la profetica previsione che un giorno il Vovinam avrebbe condiviso i suoi valori culturali attraverso le arti marziali nel mondo, ma probabilmente non ha mai potuto immaginare quanto tale possibilità si sarebbe realmente realizzata. Questa possibilità ha effettivamente avuto luogo sulla TV Italiana in un modo tale che il nostro Maestro Fondatore sarebbe stato davvero molto orgoglioso se ancora vivo oggi.
Negli ultimi decenni il Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo ha avuto un rapido sviluppo dei paesi Europei, nel Nord America e in Australia. In effetti dopo il 1975, dall’unificazione tra nord e sud Vietnam il paese ha avuto un periodo di incertezza a causa del divieto della pratica di tutte le scuole di arti marziali. Non fu fatta eccezione per il Vovinam al quale fu ordinato di chiudere; il Gran Maestro Lê Sáng fu incarcerato per i 13 anni successivi. Nel frattempo molti immigrati provenienti dal Vietnam insieme a qualche studente che già si trovava all’estero riuscirono a tenere il Vovinam in vita superando situazioni difficili. Per fortuna quest’arte marziale ha ricevuto un’accoglienza calorosa ovunque venne introdotta. In Europa le scuole di Vovinam incominciarono a svilupparsi in diversi paesi. Francia, Italia, Germania, Spagna son stati tra i primi paesi che hanno sviluppato importanti movimenti di Vovinam. All’inizio degli anni 90, ironia della sorte, i Vietnamiti ebbero l’occasione di vedere una esibizione di Vovinam non da parte di praticanti locali, ma da parte di europei e vietnamiti residenti all’estero! Oggi grazie ad una politica differente e grazie ad un governo più aperto il Vovinam sta avendo un incredibile crescita ed espansione essendo ora presente su tutte le province del Vietnam.
Il giorno 24 Novembre 2009 alle ore 14.10 (2.10 pm), guidati dal Maestro Michele Garofalo, il maestro Vittorio "Vinh Tô" Cera, maestro Leonardo Rotunno e il maestro Giuseppe Pollastro dell'UNI0Ne Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo Italia sono apparsi come ospiti su una TV nazionale allo show POMERIGGIO ITALIA. Qui, i padroni di casa del programma TV hanno graziosamente accolto gli ospiti e chiesto curiosità riguardo l'arte marziale vietnamita e i maestri italiani hanno accuratamente spiegato i vari concetti e dato un accurata spiegazione delle parole "Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo". Inoltre i maestri hanno personalmente svolto una impeccabile dimostrazione di Vovinam utilizzando una vasta gamma di tecniche, dalla difesa a mani nude, l’uso delle armi, e le forme, i Quyen. La parola "Kiếm" e altre poche parole in vietnamita sono state pronunciate mescolandole a termini italiani, così da spiegare meglio ai padroni di casa l’arte marziale vietnamita. "Nghiêm lễ", sorprendentemente i maestri hanno dato i comandi in vietnamita, con una pronuncia vicina alla perfezione. L'amore per il Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo è piacevolmente evidente sui loro volti con gli occhi luminosi e pieni di energia. La passione che questi maestri hanno per questa arte marziale è contagiosa e, senza dubbio, centinaia di migliaia, forse milioni di telespettatori italiani che sono stati a guardare il programma televisivo hanno probabilmente sentito l'energia positiva.
E 'difficile immaginare che 71 anni dopo la sua prima dimostrazione di Vovinam ad Hanoi guidata dal fondatore Maestro Nguyễn Lộc, il Vovinam è espresso con passione in un'altra lingua, in un luogo lontano come la Milano in Italia, a casa di Cesare e dei guerrieri di Sacro Impero Romano! Sì, il gran maestro fondatore sarebbe stato molto orgoglioso nel vedere ciò, e così lo sarebbe il Gran Maestro Lê Sáng e molti Mon Sinh nel mondo.

Italian Masters Promote Vovinam on TV Show
In 1938, the founding Grandmaster Nguyễn Lộc prophetically predicted that one day Vovinam will share its cultural values through martial arts with the world, but he probably never could imagine how that possibility would unfold. Indeed, that possibility actually took place on national TV of Italy in a way that our founding father would have been very proud, if he was still alive.
Over last couple decades, Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo spread quickly to European countries as well as in North America and Australia. In fact, in 1975 after the unification of North and South Vietnam, the country underwent a period of uncertainty, when all martial art schools were prohibited. No exception, sharing the same faith Vovinam was ordered to shut down; Grand master Lê Sáng was incarcerated for 13 years after that. In the meanwhile, the immigrants from Vietnam along with a few students studying abroad diligently kept Vovinam alive, overcoming difficult circumstances. Fortunately this martial art received warm welcome wherever it is introduced. In Europe, Vovinam schools started to proliferate in several countries. Particularly France, Italy, Germany, and Spain are among the first few countries showed early and prominent Vovinam movements. In early 1990’s Vovinam activity inside Vietnam was still very limited. Ironically many people of Vietnam, for the first time, witnessed Vovinam exhibition by not local Vietnamese… but Europeans and Vietnamese from abroad! Today due to more open government policy, Vovinam again experiences a fantastic resurrection and a rapid expansion throughout the provinces of Vietnam.
On November 24 2009 at 2:10 pm, lead by Master Maestro Garofalo, Master Vittorio "Vinh Tô" Cera, Master Leonardo Rotunno and Master Giuseppe Pollastro from the U-nion of Vovinam-Việt Võ Đạo Italia appeared as guests on a national TV show called POMERIGGIO ITALIA. Here, the TV hosts were graciously and inquisitively asked about the Vietnamese martial art and the Italian masters carefully elaborated new concepts and explained a few terms including the unfamiliar words like “Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo”. In addition, the masters personally took turn demonstrated flawlessly a comprehensive range of Vovinam self-defense techniques with bare hands, use of weapons, and drill forms. “Kiếm” and a few Vietnamese words were used mixed among Italian words as the masters described the martial art of Vietnam to the hosts. “Nghiêm lễ”, amazingly the masters gave commands in Vietnamese, near perfection. The love for Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo is evident on their pleasant faces with bright eyes and full of energy. The masters’ passion for this Vietnamese martial art is contagious and, no doubt, hundreds of thousand, possibly millions of Italian TV audience who were watching the TV show would probably felt the positive energy as well.
It is difficult to imagine 71 years after its first Vovinam demonstration in Hanoi led by the founding Grandmaster Nguyễn Lộc, Vovinam is spoken of passionately in another language, in such a far place such as Milano Italy. Here is the home of Great Caesar and of the warriors of mighty Roman empire! Yes, the founding grandmaster would have been very proud and so would be Grand Master Lê Sáng and are many Vovinam môn sinh everywhere!
